Inverse identification of source location in a single-sided natural ventilation building

Natural ventilation is a common way of for urban residents, which simple and energy-efficient. However, this not only introduces fresh air from outdoors into the indoor environment but also brings various pollutants environment, thus reducing quality causing series human respiratory diseases in severe cases, such as asthma, pneumonia, bronchitis, etc. In high-density proximity rooms within building can easily lead to cross-infection between occupants event public health emergency. Therefore, it great significance quickly accurately find source viruses or pollutants. The objective study locate pollutant spread units by wind effect. A model with three-storey wind-driven single-sided was built. Carbon dioxide ( CO 2 ) used tracer Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulate predict airflow concentration fields around building. results indicated that location predicted pollution close position where released. paper provide vital information preventing contaminants buildings.
